Hi, I’m jjoelio.

You probably came here hoping to learn a little more about me. First off, the image above - Very kind rendition from Canva.

I have a career in ‘data’ but spend most of my evenings writing small applications in go, Python, TS and more recently I’ve been experimenting with C.

There is something about functional programming that I really enjoy.

Since my day job is in data - I do a lot of work with SQL, yet more Python and dabble with DAX.

I have a couple of goals for this blog in 2025:

  • Get it online
  • Continue refinement of the theme
  • Add some sort of privacy focused analytics (Plausible?)
  • Publish 25 posts
  • Reach 1000 viewers
